i finally have an audience to ignore me. |
my name is stacy michelle.
i look like this. i'm 25 and sassy. los angeles by way of miami. music. / industry. ( i work here. ) my friends are the coolest. & occasionally, i pretend to be artistic. i'm also on twitter disclaimer: my blog is full of quotes, pictures of food + baby animals + polar bears, and me beaming over bands & artists i love &/or work for. |
#tbt in honor of Gavin’s birthday. From the #dredg tour #2009 when Gavin, @drewroulette & I got pedicures on a day off. I think this was somewhere in in Nebraska.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood
In a modest town where honest people dwell
Making the cleanest energy for the greenest plants to grow
Richest soil that is drenched with the freshest rain
when i was on warped tour, the main stage soundchecked with this every day. it made me so happy. miss my big brothers.

yes sir. it’s from the two month summer 2009 tour that i did with them and rx bandits… we had as tall as lions, good old war, and zechs marquise open up different parts of the tour. arguably the best two months of my life.
@ jack - when i was on tour with the guys in summer 2009, we had a day off at lake shasta and rented some boats with the other bands we were out with. the boats were docked on an island. gavin and i were messing around and he picked me up and threw me off the boat. since the boat was docked, i undoubtedly thought that i was going to hit land and die/break something/everything. luckily—- despite being docked—- there was water below and i was a-okay. horrified, but okay.
the two months i spent on the road with those dudes were some of the best of my life, but also probably amongst the most dangerous to my health. haha. next story: the time i got dog piled in the front lounge and ended up with a bruised rib.
my day in pictures. return of the mack pandora. and talking to gavin on gchat about the time he threw me off the side of a boat. typical.
those boys are more than my friends, they’re my brothers.
i really, honestly am so thankful that i have them. we have such a special bond that i don’t have with anyone else on the planet. i spent two of the best months of my life with them. and i just adore them to bits.
also, motion city tonight was unreal amounts of good. great vibe from the crowd. tomorrow should be amazing, as well.
this weekend is going to be over before i know it.
xo.
this picture just blew my fucking mind. i miss this bus and i miss these boys. i’m trying to figure out what day this was taken (and who took it!), as i know this was on that tour by tim’s cowboy hat. oh man, i love this.

There’s almost no one on earth I’d rather spend time with than these four dudes.
I understand why I stopped touring, I am insanely happy with my life. Arguably happier than I’ve been in a long while. But seeing them makes it so hard to not want to jump back in a van or bus. Seriously. Best dudes on earth and their music is incredible to boot. I’m a lucky gal to have had two glorious months in their presence.
so excited to see these handsome boys this week. love my big brothers.

I’m not inside you; you’re all around me. Is this what you needed to hear to comfort you? I waited all this time above you.
obligatory.

cartoon showroom - dredg
this song just came on and my heart sank for a second. summer 2009, dredg ended each set with this song. my heart sank because i felt like something great was about to end. it’s crazy how we relate so much back to music. our senses have a serious way of playing tricks on us.
there is only so much we can do. only so much that can be shown to you. the rest is your choice.
New additions. Left - Dredg summer 2009 tour poster, top- new found glory 2011 chain reaction show poster. Bottom- Lydia/brave citizens date-specific poster (Reno. 5/31/09), right- warped tour (7/13/10) poster by Evan Pierri.
